Upholstery Cleaning

Upholstery Cleaning involves the process of removing Dirt, Stains, Oils, and Allergens from fabric-covered furniture such as sofas & chairs.

Whilst many Carpet & Upholstery cleaners will simply attempt to deep-clean all fabric with little care or know how, we understand the need to assess and identify each material and match the correct cleaning method accordingly.

With such a vast range of fabrics available today its more important than ever to get it right first time, every time.

We clean all types of upholstery by using one of the 3 methods below:

  • Deep Clean (Hot Water Extraction & Rinse)

  • Low moisture Clean (Foam & encapsulation)

  • Dry Clean (specialised solvent clean)

Most upholstery will have the following codes on the tag/ label (usually found under seat cushion)

  • W - Water allowed

  • S - Solvent/ Dry-clean only

  • WS - either of above

  • X - Vacuum only

What are the Benefits of
Professional Upholstery Cleaning?

Health & Hygiene

  • Allergens: Extracts hidden dust mites, pollen and pet dander trapped in fabric fibres

  • Kills Bacteria & Improves Air Quality.

  • Eliminates Odours: Neutralises deep-rooted smells from spills, smoke, pets & body odours rather than just masking them.

Maintenance & Lifespan

  • Extends furniture life: Removes abrasive dirt particles that cut and damage fabric over time.

  • Restores Appearance: Lifts dull grime & stains to brighten colours & revive the original look & texture.

Professional Upholstery Cleaning
vs
DIY Home Cleaning

Modern stain removal products are great on general fabrics. However, if the residue is not fully extracted from fabrics afterwards the residue attracts soiling quickly & can cause further staining often making the initial stain worse.

Profesional Cleaning involves using equipment calibrated for the extraction of cleaning solutions completely, and removes soiling that home DIY cleaning machines & methods simply cannot.

Attempting DIY cleaning on specialist fabrics can often cause permanent damage that cannot be reversed.

Professional Cleaning costs far less than replacing damaged furniture.
